Who is Angie Khawly?

She/Her/Ella     Founding Attorney

Angie is the Founding Attorney at Khawly Law PLLC. Angie founded Khawly Law PLLC in July 2023, following the birth of her third child, after she envisioned to create a space for BIPOC attorneys with a healthy and flexible work life balance in a post-pandemic virtual world.

Angie’s passion for law derived at the young age of eleven while listening to her father and uncles sit around the dinner table discussing Latin American politics and political upheaval in South America. As a first generation Peruvian-American and a product of a disenfranchised community in Long Island, these dinner conversations sparked Angie’s passion to help people advocate for themselves.

Before starting Khawly Law PLLC, Angie spent ten years helping people and companies secure the best possible outcome for their needs. Angie is a highly experienced litigator with a decade of experience in complex litigation in the areas of business dissolution, contractual disputes, property disputes, transportation, premise liability, labor law, and medical malpractice. Angie is known for her compassionate and effective communication skills, which enables her to have a keen sense of understanding her client’s needs. Throughout her career, she has demonstrated a remarkable ability to obtain cost-effective and low-risk solutions for her clients at an extraordinary pace. Her strategic approach and adherence to client and company guidelines are instrumental in achieving successful outcomes for high-exposure complex litigation matters. During her decade-long career, Angie successfully tried a bench trial in NYC Civil Court and argued before the Appellate Division, Second Department. Throughout her career, Angie has demonstrated high level skills in risk assessment and risk transfer, cost-effective solutions, compliance management, leadership mentoring, client-focused communication, negotiations, oral advocacy, and legal writing. Angie’s commitment to delivering exceptional legal representation, her ability to navigate complex litigation matters, and her dedication to client success, makes her a highly respected litigator in her field.
